If you have a story in the back of your head or the center of your heart, you can now share your story with America (and the rest of the world). If it happened, if it could have happened, or if you just think it should have happened, you can write about it. All you need is a good memory or a good imagination. This is your chance to be creative.

Write a story about that special vacation, family reunion, or of some other great childhood memory. It could be about your memories of your first haircut, first boy friend, first girl friend, or about your first long trip in your family's automobile. You might even want to tell us about how as a child, you had to walk to school, up hill both ways, in knee deep snow, and with no shoes. You have a story that you have been wanting to share. Now is your chance to have it published online.

If you have pictures, you can post your photos to enhance your writing. The story should be
two thousand words or less, but we will make some exceptions.

Please do not list any last or family names, and if you add pictures,
please do not submit any photos that show a persons face.

All stories are pre-screened and stories that are advertisements, or might be considered
offensive, political, sexual, or just controversial, will be rejected.

Be creative, or just write of your memories. Make us laugh, cry, wish and daydream,
or just make us think. Your story may be the story, that puts a smile on America's face.
